A 29-year-old drunk man was arrested for stabbing two Jewish men who were shoveling snow in Brooklyn on Motzoei Shabbos.
In the initial police investigation, the drunk suspect without warning stabbed one of the victims around 9:40 p.m. at East 17th Street between Avenue R and Quentin Road in the Homecrest neighborhood.
The victim who was shoveling snow screamed and suffered wounds on his finger due to the attack.
At that instance, the victim’s father went out and help his son from the attacker.
The two successfully pinned down the suspect but the father suffered stab wounds on his back.
Sources said the suspect is now facing a felony assault charge and has a prior summons for public consumption of alcohol.
