New York City mayor Eric Adams said the Big Apple has the best transportation in the world.
On Wednesday, Adams explained that the NYC transport system is open 24 hours which is a huge relief to New Yorkers.
“My passport is filled with travels across the globe,” Adams said.
“There aren’t too many systems that are open 24 hours… Low-income New Yorkers will tell you without this transportation system, they will not be able to commute in this city,” Adams added.
Adams said he felt sad to those New Yorkers who do not feel they have the best transportation in the world.
“If you don’t feel it’s the best, that’s sad for you,” he said.
While Adams consider NYC transportation in the world, an analysis published in November by British consulting group OliverWyman Forum and the University of California, Berkeley found New York ranked 11th among global cities in urban mobility.
