On Wednesday, a memorial service commemorating Esther Horgen’s death two years ago was held at the European Parliament in Brussels.
The session began with the lighting a candle in honor of Horgan, which was organized by the Samaria Regional Council and the European Conservatives and Reformists Group of the parliament.
On December 20, 2020, Muhammad Mruh Kabha killed the woman, a mother of six, close to her home in northern Samaria.
Binyamin, Esther’s husband; her children Odalia and Abigail; Yossi Dagan, the leader of the Samaria Council; Haim Regev, the Israeli ambassador to the EU, and more than ten members of the European Parliament attended the ceremony.
Horgan was from the EU. citizen.
Dagan demanded that the European Union immediately stop funding the Palestinian Authority.
He claimed that “your money, the tax money of hundreds of millions of inhabitants of the European Union, is used to support the slaughter of Jews in the State of Israel.”
“The Palestinian Authority sends 500,000 shekels annually to terrorists detained in Israeli jails.
The more they killed, the larger the reward. Muhammad Kabha, the vile terrorist who killed Esther Horgan, receives 12,000 shekels ($3,490), or six times the average Palestinian Authority wage, from you, the European taxpayer.
Thus, I beg you. Is it profitable to slaughter Jews? Look into these children’s eyes, please. And pledge that you’ll take all necessary steps to end the chaos.
Abigail, Horgen’s daughter, pleaded with the lawmakers to assist her in stopping the murderous cycle from intensifying.
“As we sit here next to Esther’s family, I am appalled to read that her perpetrator would receive 4,000,000 shekels [$1.16 million] from the Palestinian Authority during his lifetime for perpetrating the horrific crime,” said Bert-Jan Ruissen, who represents the Netherlands in the European Parliament.
@leovandoesburg spoke at the Esther Horgen commemoration event about how PA leaders and education ministries spread libels and hatred against Jews.
