The 36-year-old Anthony Altick has been detained by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for illegally erecting anti-Semitic hate banners near the Daryl Carter Parkway Bridge in Orlando.
On the basis of an FDLE warrant, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest yesterday.
House Bill 269, which Governor Ron DeSantis signed earlier this year, forbids anybody from projecting or exhibiting images on a building, structure, or piece of property without authorization.
The conduct of this suspect will not be accepted in the great state of Florida, according to FDLE Commissioner Mark Glass. I’d like to thank our FDLE agents and partners who helped in this investigation, as well as Governor DeSantis for his ongoing support.
The first suspect in this investigation was detained last week. The news announcement is available at this link:

The banners, which hung directly above I-4, carried racist sentiments and Swastika flags.
The event was looked into by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and FDLE Orlando.
The investigation also received help from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Two arrest warrants are still pending for other demonstrators who reside outside the state and whose acts broke recently passed state legislation. Altick will face criminal mischief charges.
