By 11/29/2022 5:25 PMNo CommentsBy YidInfo Staff

A few miles north of Jerusalem, close to Kochav Yaakov, a ramming attack left a 20-year-old female soldier with serious injuries.

Security footage captured a dark SUV doing a U-turn as it approached the sidewalk after noticing the soldier.

The woman was struck by the car, which then sped away from the scene.

Menachem Leff, an EMT with United Hatzalah, arrived on the scene quickly and began treating the woman, who had suffered significant head damage but was still completely aware.

The medical professional immobilized the woman’s head and used a neck brace to stop additional injury while staunching the bleeding using trauma bandages.

She was reportedly sent to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek hospital with a severe head injury, according to the Magen David Adom ambulance service.

Her status was described as stable by the hospital.

The terrorist was wounded fatally when IDF forces shot him after pursuing him.

He later passed away at a hospital.

The terrorist was named father-of-five Rani Mamoun Fayz Abu Ali, 45, of Beitunia.

According to the investigation, he had previously worked at the Rami Levy store and owned a legitimate work permit for the Binyamin area.

The attack happened when regional emotions were high following the deaths of two brothers from a community close to Ramallah during skirmishes with IDF soldiers.
