Firefighters are currently battling a confirmed commercial structure fire in Spring Valley at 65 Lafayette St. Hatzolah is also on scene.
Multiple departments have been dispatched. Reports of people trapped.
Fire is in a nursing home where multiple patients are still trapped. Hatzolah is working on extracting all patient’s to safety.
Chaveirim of Rockland are currently setting up school busses ready to help escort all elderly people from the home care.
2:00 AM: The fire just went up to a 3rd alarm fire and is still not under control.
2:50 AM: The fire has ripped through most of the building. The roof and first and second floor are completely fell in.
The FDNY have been requested to assist and are currently heading in.
