2 Flatbush Shomrim volunteers making their way home from Shul after davening Yom Kippur afternoon, noticed a down syndrome child crying and wandering around the streets.
The volunteers immediately sprung into action and had a passerby call 911
Moments after the NYPD arrived to the scene they received another 911 call for a child missing a short distance away.
After confirming that the 2 were connected and the child found by the Shomrim volunteers was in fact the one reported missing, the child was reunited with her ever so grateful parents.
With help from the dedicated volunteers of @FlatbushShomrim they were able to locate & reunite a lost child with the mother safely.
We thank them for their continued commitment & partnership for ensuring a safe community. pic.twitter.com/fEdoMlUrr5

A passerby that was present at the scene tells YidInfo.net “It was amazing to see the amazing outcome and true Kiddush Hashem of this story where the child was wandering and crying for over 30 minutes until she wandered into the Yiddish area where the volunteers of Flatbush Shomrim noticed her child and immediately sprung into action”
