A unique new initiative by Ford, the automaker has launched the Build-a-Bronco website that will enable users to fully customize and configure their dream SUV, minus the hassles of having to visit dealerships for it!
On Friday, last week, Ford Motor Co. opened up this unique website to the 190,000 people who have placed $100 reservations for the 2021 Ford Bronco, which was introduced in July. This marked the first time customers could choose car colors, interior colors, fabrics, and accessories and tally the price, in an all-online procedure.

An option that is currently limited to the First Edition, the option is only being made available to the first and only 7,000 cars, which were claimed within hours of the exciting announcement. The rest of the lineup has starting prices ranging from $29,995 to $50,970 and can be equipped with options and customizations that push the price to nearly $65,000, with a portion of the profits going toward a wilderness conservation and education fund, as promised.

With the new feature, users can choose from seven models and mix and match colors and options to create the perfect, individualized SUV that suits their style and specifications.
The new color options on the page include Area 51, Cactus Gray, “inspired by weathered brush and tough cacti,” plus an all-new Kodiak Brown, available on Bronco Sport, according to Ford. Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, a color featured on the Ford Mustang, is available on both models, while Race Red is available on the Bronco two-door and four-door SUVs. Furthermore, Velocity Blue will be made available on Bronco, and Cyber Orange Metallic Tri-Coat, on both Bronco and Bronco Sport. Lightning Blue will be offered on First Edition Bronco two-door and four-door models.

While users will be able to customize their cars now, deliveries for the truck aren’t scheduled to begin until June 2021.
