The former mayor of New York City and billionaire Mike Bloomberg has high hopes for Big Apple under the leadership of its newly assumed chief executive Eric Adams.
Bloomberg said he and the rest of the New Yorker wished Adams all the best as the new mayor of NYC.
It’s a new year and a new day for New York! We are all rooting for @NYCMayor as he takes on the best job in the world. I’ve never been more optimistic about New York City’s future. pic.twitter.com/qKT8RSSbwJ

“We are all rooting for [Eric Adams] as he takes on the best job in the world. I’ve never been more optimistic about New York City’s future,” Bloomberg said on his social media accounts on New Year’s Day, after Adam’s swearing-in.
Before the NYC mayoralty elections, Bloomberg, who had a rare third term at City Hall, said Adams could enjoy the same long tenure if he plays his card well.
In a charity event, Bloomberg said Adams has the leadership that can make him stay long in the office if he is clever enough.
