
To further inspire the organization’s volunteers, the President and Founder of United Hatzalah Eli Beer flew Sunday night to Moldova and headed into Ukraine.
In his quick visit to Ukraine, Beer spent some time praying for a quick end to the conflict and the speedy recovery of those injured at the gravesite of Rabbi Nachman in Uman.
According to reports, Beer took time to visit United Hatzalah team members who have been operating a group of ambulances and providing medical care to injured and ill people in various cities in Ukraine.
Beer and his entourage also brought with them much-needed medical supplies from Israel and delivered them to the volunteers and various medical clinics in the region, including the medical center in Uman.
Sources said Beer and his team then headed to Bucha and Kyiv, where they met with United Hatzalah team members and delivered medical supplies to hospitals.
He also teams met with various health and government officials to understand better the ongoing medical and humanitarian needs in the country.
