
On Tuesday night, four teens from Rockland County were charged and arrested for committing hate crimes on five Chasidic victims in Monsey.
19-year-old Cody Vascak-Katchmar of Valley Cottage and 19-year-old Kristina Fogarty of Tomkins Cove were arrested by Ramapo police, as were two other unnamed suspects, aged 18 and 17.

Committing three different crimes starting at approximately 12:30 AM on July 17th, the Chaverim of Rockland, stated that two women walking on Route 306 were shot with BBs near Rita Avenue, while another was pelted with eggs as she walked between Phyllis Terrace and West Maple Avenue.
In a third attack moments later, a man was struck in the face by BBs on West Maple Avenue near Elyon Road.
Soon after the incident, Ramapo Police Department launched an investigation, searching for a white Ford pickup truck whose front license plates were removed. Chaverim assisted in the investigation, going door to door collecting surveillance footage from nearby homeowners.
All four arrested, were charged with second-degree assault as a hate crime, second-degree reckless endangerment as a hate crime, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fifth and sixth-degree conspiracy, second-degree aggravated harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
