
The proprietor of Railroad Pizza in Crown Heights was robbed in his store’s basement a few weeks ago. Surveillance footage of the horrific robbery has been widely disseminated on social media.
Levi Aronow spoke about the terrifying encounter on Fox News.
Levi responded when asked if he believed he would pass away, “When I was on the floor, I started reciting a chapter of Psalms because I did not know when that bullet was going to come through my back.”
He claimed that he was in the kitchen basement when he turned around to see the burglars. One of them forced him to the ground while claiming to have a pistol and demanded money.

After the robbers became enraged because he had no cash, he said he gave them his debit card along with the PIN to defuse the situation.
The Fox News anchor commended Levi for his “grace and compassion” toward the vicious attackers.
Crown Heights Shomrim responded to a call for assistance from NYPD officers after the heist and joined them in looking for the two masked perpetrators.
The two thugs managed to elude authorities despite a detailed description and flight path.
After closing the business and getting ready for Lag B’Omer, where he had given free pizza to many of the revelers at the fair following the parade, the incident happened at midnight.
After a terrifying seven minutes, the couple finally left the store mercifully without hurting the owner. Shomrim has increased patrols in the region ever since the incident.
