Funds pour in for mother in Woodmere crash who remains in grave condition

Funds have been collected from 6,100 yidden who wants to help the family of a mother who got injured in the horrific accident in Woodmere on motzei shabbos.

Sources said the victim remains in critical condition but financial aid collected from kind-hearted individuals already reached $518,000 as of this writing.

The money is a huge help to her family who is in dire need of money at the moment.

The fundraising initiative was put up by TAG, Rabbi Friedman of Rambam, the Rabbonim of the North Woodmere Jewish Community, and Achiezer.

Meanwhile, it was learned that the second accident victim remains in the ICU at Long Island Jewish Medical Center but is baruch hashem rapidly improving and is expected to make a full recovery, though the process will be long and arduous.

It was also learned that the two other girls in the accident suffered more moderate injuries and one has already been discharged from the hospital.

Earlier, it was already reported that 15-year-old Liel Namdar A”H from Great Neck, one of the girls riding in the vehicle struck by a drunk driver was tragically killed in the accident, with her kevurah taking place in Eretz Yisroel on Monday.
