As a yearly tradition, Bike4Chai started off with a bang Thursday morning as over 600 bicyclists started out at the Minerals Hotel
in Vernon Township, NJ.
There was a total of seven rest stops along the way with the lunch rest stop at Camp Simcha. Each rest stop had cold drinks, snacks and buckets of ice for the bikers to cool off with.
There were special social distancing guidelines put in place at the Camp Simcha grounds, where the bikers met up with the special needs kids that cheered on the bikers.
The bike-a-thon is a yearly fundraising mission that brings in most of the funds for the special organization Chai Lifeline, an organization that cares for cancer patients & special needs children. The campaign successfully ended with a total of over TEN MILLION DOLLARS raised.
