According to a spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces, the war has forced the displacement of around 500,000 Israelis.
Approximately 500,000 Israelis are currently internally displaced, according to Lt.-Col. Jonathan Conricus, a retired officer, stated this during a press conference. In preparation for a ground offensive, the army has evacuated more than 20 towns close to the Gaza Strip.

Additionally, a Lebanese anti-tank rocket that was fired at Israel’s northernmost town of Metula caused three casualties. Tanks from the IDF fired in retaliation for the fire’s origin.
The remaining citizens of Kiryat Shmona and Metula were told to go into bomb shelters until further notice after the army proclaimed them closed military zones.
