New vending machines with free products are being installed in New York City. Instead of drinks or candy bars, they’ll hand out crack pipes and other drug-related stuff.

City officials presented a street vending machine on Monday as part of a new Democratic initiative to promote better “health.”
It offers free “paraphernalia” like crack pipes, lip balm, and Narcan for overdoses.
According to local “Health Department” authorities, the machine, which will be positioned in the most drug-infested districts, delivers drug-related freebies to stem the rise in overdoses in the five boroughs.
“We lose a New Yorker to drugs every three hours.” At a news briefing next to the first machine, Commissioner of Health and Mental Hygiene Ashwin Vasan said, “And 2022 will be our biggest year ever in overdoses.
He noted the growing usage of Xylazine, a veterinary medicine also known as “Tranq” or the “zombie drug” that can cause conditions that consume the flesh off of users and put them in a catatonic state.
The machines also come with Narcan, a medication that prevents overdoses, fentanyl-detection drug test strips, and “Safer Smoking” kits, which come with a heavy stem pipe, a mouthpiece, and lip balm and can be used to smoke crack and crystal meth.
Additionally, there are “Safer Sniffing” kits. People don’t have to pay for these things, unlike private drug traffickers; all they need to do is enter their zip code to gain access.
The distribution of “safe-smoking kits,” which typically include crack pipes, would be funded by a $30 million harm-reduction program under the Biden administration, according to a February 2022 investigation by the Washington Free Beacon.
