Dov Hikind, a Jewish activist, and other community leaders attended a rally on Wednesday to demand the dismissal of CUNY Law School administrators who encourage antisemitism.
The End Jew Hatred movement planned the event, which took place in front of the CUNY chancellor’s office in midtown Manhattan.
Dov Hikind, a former Democratic state assemblyman from New York, Americans Against Antisemitism, and social media star Elizabeth Savetsky were among the attendees.
Hikind urged the dismissal of Dean Sudha Setty and other CUNY academics who supported the most recent anti-Semitic remark made by student Fatima Mohammed.
“We must act against Jew-hatred and not just talk about it,” Hikind stated.
We have the chance to demand the dismissal of the law school dean who allowed Fatima Mohammed to speak with such horrible venom against the Jewish people and the State of Israel on Wednesday at 5 o’clock outside the chancellor’s office at 205 East 42nd Street. Remarks that were cruel, evil, and hateful were made.
What will we do about it now that the CUNY board has declared it hate speech? Let that pass, and watch for another instance of anti-Semitism, please? We must unite. We won’t remain silent.
