Because the computer system poses a fire danger, Hyundai recalls more than 44,000 vehicles and advises drivers to park them outdoors.
The problem concerns the anti-lock braking system in 2018 Santa Fe Sport vehicles, which can break down, generate an electrical surge, and ignite a fire even when the engine is off.
For the same issue, Hyundai recalled more than 350,000 vehicles in February.
Four distinct fires have been reported at the automaker, but no casualties have been indicated.
A dealership can fix the problem for impacted drivers.
