On Sunday morning in Samaria, a Palestinian man attacked Israeli security personnel with a knife and was later slain by them.
The attacker got out of his car and charged at the force, trying to grab one of the soldiers’ weapons while neighborhood Palestinians stoned the Israeli soldiers.
The soldier’s first shot struck the terrorist, killing him.
The event occurred just hours after two Palestinian terrorists were murdered while attempting to fire soldiers from a moving vehicle near Jaba, in Samaria, 5 miles southwest of Jenin.
The terrorists, Amjad Halila, 23, and Az a-Din Hamamra, 24, were both affiliates of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s Jenin branch.
According to the Israeli military, Israeli forces took an M-16 weapon from the vehicle used in the attack.
In either episode, there were no casualties among Israelis.
