Israeli Air Force (IAF) reserve pilots who have skipped work in “protest” of the current administration may be discharged by October 17.
Prior to October 17, when the IAF will be conducting a significant joint exercise with the US Air Force, all squadron commanders will be required to prepare a list of their active pilots, according to a report by Channel 13 News.
Pilots who fail to report for duty will be declared unfit and may have their Air Force careers terminated.
The article states that Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar, commander of the Israeli Air Force, made the order.
