BDE: Yisrael Levinstein, a 22-year-old young inhabitant of the Ramah Bet neighborhood in Bet Shemesh, was killed when his automobile toppled at the scene of a sad accident at Tel Yarmut near Bet Shemesh.

Ruth Altman (29), a mother of three children and Levinstein’s sister, was gravely hurt in the incident and is currently being treated at Hadassah Ein Kerem in an unstable state. Pray for Ruth Bas Sarah, please.

The injured people were discovered a half-hour after the disaster because the Yarmut Park, an archaeological site close to Ramah Heh in southern Bet Shemesh, was deserted when the family traveled there.

Yisrael Levinstein z’l was the son of Rav Dovid, a well-known individual who settled in Ramah Bet after moving to Bet Shemesh from the former USSR. Yisrael was one of Bli Ayin Hara’s 13 offspring.

Friends regarded him as a gifted person who enjoyed helping others and was a master electrician.

May God bless his soul.
