According to state media, Iran displayed a cutting-edge domestic drone on Tuesday that can reach Israel.
The Mohajer-10 UAV has a 2,000 km operational radius, the capacity to fly for 24 hours at a height of about 23,000 feet (7,000 meters) and a range of 1,240 miles.
As the crow flies, Tehran and Jerusalem are separated by 1,559 miles (969 Kilometers). Iranian TV exhibited the drone together with other military equipment with the words „Prepare your shelters“ in Hebrew and Persian, according to the Reuters news agency.
Tehran’s religious leadership has often threatened the Jewish state.
President Ebrahim Raisi watched as the drone was made public as part of Defense Industry Day.
The drone can transport a payload of 300 kg, according to the unofficial Mehr News Agency, (661 pounds) and 210 kph (130 mph) as its top speed. It is „capable of transporting all types of explosives and ammunition and is furnished with electronic warfare and intelligence systems.”
At the presentation on Tuesday, the Arman-1 guided air-launched bomb was also unveiled.
According to Reuters, an Iranian delegation arrived in Moscow on Monday to talk about ground forces collaboration between the two militaries.
Iran has refuted allegations that it sold drones to Russia for use in its invasion of Ukrainian territory.
