Israel COVID-19 deaths hit 8,000 marks

The Health Ministry of Israel said the number of patients who died of COVID-19 is now 8,010.

The Health Ministry added that in the previous 24 hours, six patients succumbed to the virus.

The data from the Health Ministry also shows that 1,600 people died since the beginning of the fourth wave in June.

From this number, the majority of whom were recorded in August and September – respectively 631 and 668.

Another 224 individuals have passed away since the beginning of October.

Moreover, the latest health data has also shown that most COVID casualties in Israel are over the age of 60 and unvaccinated.

Last September 23, the Health Ministry said 19 people died of COVID-19 in just one day.

The health ministry revealed, for September 529 people in Israel died due to COVID-19.
