The Israeli army claimed that the home of a Palestinian engaged in a March attack in Tel Aviv that left one person dead and two others injured was demolished on Tuesday.
In one of Tel Aviv’s busiest avenues, a guy, identified by the army as Moataz Khawaja, 23, is shown in video footage of the incident shooting three individuals from behind, including one in the head, before being shot and killed by Israeli police.
He was identified as a member of Hamas’s armed wing.
On Tuesday, the army demolished Khawaja’s house in the occupied West Bank town of Naalin, northwest of Ramallah.
The army claimed that as Israeli personnel razed the site, individuals hurled fireworks, stones and burned tires at them.
To discourage potential assailants, Israel destroys their homes.
