According to a spokesperson for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the ongoing IDF offensive will give Gaza’s ruling Hamas terrorist group “zero military capabilities and zero motivation to carry out attacks” for decades.

“We view Gaza as a sizable terrorist stronghold, or the new caliphate, if you will. The spokeswoman said, “This is ISIS on steroids because it has a state behind it: Iran. Israeli officials are looking into ‘new signs’ of direct Iranian participation in Hamas’ shocking attack on October 7.

The official declared, “We are a country at war, but not only at war; this is a struggle of the entire civilized world against savagery.

Terrorists from Hamas broke into multiple Israeli settlements early on Saturday morning, killing at least 1,200 people and escaping with at least 100 hostages to Gaza. Over the weekend, gunshot and rocket strikes left almost 3,000 people injured, and the number is growing.

As part of “Operation Swords of Iron,” the IDF is launching massive airstrikes against a number of Hamas strategic centers. The Al Furqan neighborhood in Gaza City, which it referred to as “a terror nest for Hamas” and the location of “many activities against Israel,” was the target of more than 200 airstrikes by the Israel Air Force overnight on Tuesday.

In addition, it stated that the IDF “will continue to act forcefully against the infrastructures of the terrorist organization Hamas, which aim terror against Israel and continue extensive waves of attacks in the Gaza Strip.”

The military reported that over 2,450 Hamas targets, including naval assets, command and control centers, and storage facilities for weapons, had been hit throughout the Gaza Strip in the first five days of the conflict. IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said that the military has made the execution of key Hamas militants a “top priority.”

Abdel-Fattah Diab Deif, the brother of Hamas military commander Muhammad Deif, was reportedly killed in an Israeli strike in the southern Gaza Strip on Wednesday, according to Palestinian sources.
