There have been reports of a serious traffic accident in Ukraine involving a car carrying Israelis traveling to Uman for Rosh Hashanah and a local girl. YWN is informed by sources that the victim died as a result of her wounds.
The event happened close to Vinnytsia, which is about an hour and a half’s drive from where they were headed.
Locals promptly notified the authorities, which resulted in the Ukrainian police detaining the Israeli nationals.
Fortunately, none of the affected parties needed medical assistance. Askanim in Uman is currently working to help those affected.
