Jake Turx sparked some discussion on Twitter on Monday when he questioned who the true perpetrator of the 9/11 attacks was.
The renowned Ami columnist and White House correspondent did not seem to imply that Bin Laden and Al Qaeda were not at fault, but he questioned if there was any concrete proof of Bin Laden’s guilt.
He merely questioned OBL’s involvement and seemed to concur that Khaleed Sheik Mohammed was the architect of 9/11.
Turx also brought up the peculiar idea that the same administration, which, after several weeks, is unable to identify the offender who left a bag of cocaine in the White House, was able to identify Bin Laden as the 9/11 architect within hours.
Can someone explain to me how the same government, which still doesn’t know who brought cocaine into the West Wing, was able to quickly identify Osama Bin Laden as the architect of 9/11 from some cave halfway across the world? Turx tweeted.”
“While I enjoy a good conspiracy as much as the next guy, that’s not at all what this is about,” he continued.
Regarding the actual proof that OBL was responsible, I’m honestly lost for words.
Consider how long the US government often takes to solve a problem; but, despite the fact that the entire government was paralyzed, they were able to resolve this one in a matter of hours.”
Walter Sobchak, a Twitter user, interrogated Turx, but it didn’t seem like he had anything to say in response to Jake’s queries. “Osama bin Laden literally proclaimed that he carried out the 9/11 attacks,” he said.
Not only was there direct evidence that Al Qaeda trained 9/11 perpetrators, but I understand that some people feel the need to question everything, but perhaps we should look Osama bin Laden up on Google before we speak out in his favor.
Turx retorted that he was only challenging the facts and not endorsing Bin Laden. Nobody is being defended, he wrote. So that we can all go on, just remind me what that direct evidence was.
Sobchak then charged that Turx was spreading conspiracy theories and aggravating the grievances of the families of the 9/11 victims.
He advised Turx to read books on the subject. He didn’t mention any books or offer any supporting documentation, though.
“I haven’t promoted a single conspiracy theory,” Turx retorted. I believe I asked a straightforward question, yet nobody appears to know the answer. KSM, as far as I’m aware, was the brainchild behind 9/11.
But what part did OBL play? How can we be so sure? How did we know this prior to 9/11? ”
The reply from Sobchak was, “There are many books regarding 9/11. You’ve read how many?” “I only want to see one book that presents evidence linking OBL to 9/11,” Turx stated.
How can I locate this book? ” Sobchak remarked at that moment, Maybe contact someone who is familiar with research and talk to them about it.”
Additionally, he declared that he would not reply by providing Jake with “an intel briefing”.
