Jewish Employees of the State Department Write Letter To Blinken, Demand For Termination of Antisemitic Blogger

Fritz Berggren, a US Foreign officer who works with the state department is still on the job after his antisemitic posts were discovered six months ago. Demanding that it is high time that Berggren is terminated, almost 70 State Department employees wrote a letter to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to fire the man from the job.

Promoting Christian supremacy and taking vicious jabs at the Jewish and LGBTQ community, Berggren has, for years continued to spew hate online. Citing him a threat to Jewish employees at the State Department, the letter that was submitted to Blinken argued that Berggren has violated department rules and ethical standards. “Not only is his propagation of antisemitic ideas highly disturbing and offensive to Jewish and non-Jewish employees alike, but as Jewish employees, we feel his presence at the Department is threatening,” the letter reads.

Blinken also responded to the letter stating, “I want to assure you that the Department treats reports of alleged misconduct with the utmost seriousness,” adding that he could not comment on specifics for “privacy reasons.”

Shamelessly responding to all the reports of the said letter, Berggren wrote another post on his blog reading, “I am heartened to know that I have Jewish readers — I truly hope that they, like Saul, come to know Jesus Christ as literally the Son of God,” he wrote. “Saul, renamed Paul, converted and began preaching the message: Jesus is the Son of God!” He added, “If even one Jew or Gentile is converted then it is well worth the trouble.”
