Hatzalah South Florida has teamed up with Chesed Shel Emes, Yedidim, and the local rabbinical leadership to support our family members in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Venice who have been devastated by Hurricane Lan.
Hatzalah quickly sent out 4 rescue teams, an ambulance from Hatzalah Baltimore, and 3 emergency response units from Orlando Hatzalah and Hatzalah South Florida to help with the relief efforts, which will get underway on Wednesday, October 28th, 2022.
It is heartbreaking to see the devastation and destruction caused by Hurricane Lan.
The merged groups are helping thousands of people in need during this critical time in addition to local efforts.
Many village residents lost everything and needed the bare necessities, such as cots, blankets, clothing, towels, toiletries, etc.
