According to authorities, a Jewish middle school teacher in Wisconsin was detained for allegedly making terrorist threats against kids who had drawn swastikas on a piece of paper in his classroom.
The seventh-grade teacher who allegedly told the pupils that he had 17 firearms in his basement and wasn’t scared to use them has not been recognized by the Grafton Police Department, located north of Milwaukee.
The paintings infuriated the instructor at John Long Middle School, a Jewish man, according to the police, who also threatened to send his daughter with a baseball bat to the pupils’ homes, according to WTMJ-TV.
Ethan Poulos, a seventh grader, told the news station, “At first, he kind of just acted normal; he just put it on his desk and said,
“I’m going to notify the office about this.” But after that, he grabbed up the paper and began rambling about how that was awful and a shame to his people. He began to use the N-word, saying that using it in the speech was worse than writing it on a wall.
According to authorities, the teacher was arrested and taken to the Ozaukee County jail for making terrorist threats and subjecting a youngster to inappropriate content.
They are both felonies.
In a letter to families on Friday, Grafton Superintendent Jeff Nelson stated that the teacher had been promptly put on leave and removed from the classroom.
