After defending Ilhan Omar on his show and making divisive statements about Jews and money, Joe Rogan has faced criticism on social media.
In reaction, several pointed out that Omar went considerably further, implying that Jews use the money to influence politics and buy support for Israel. Rogan defended the right to declare that Jews “are into money.”
Ritchie Torres, a congressman from New York, Josh Gottheimer, Dov Hikind, Jonathan Greenblatt, Joel Petlin, Mehdi Hassan, a host on MSNBC, Phillip Klein, Ted Deutch, the CEO of the American Jewish Committee, and others are among those who have expressed outrage.
I can't believe that I am agreeing with Mehdi Hasan on anything, let alone on Antisemitism.
Shame on you, @joerogan https://t.co/GdVH8G96Xs

Joe Rogan said: “the idea that Jews are not into money is ridiculous. That’s like saying Italians aren’t into pizza.”
Newsflash: The notion that interest in money is uniquely Jewish is Antisemitic garbage that should never be fed to an audience of millions.
