Arnon Segal, an Israeli journalist and fighter for the Temple Mount, has drawn criticism for choosing to give one of his kidneys only to a Jewish patient.
Segal, the brother of well-known political commentator Amit Segal and the son of journalist Chagai Segal, rejected the claims in an interview with Ynet and asserted that the media was milking the situation for ratings.
It’s my people, my neighborhood. To utilize this occasion, which is a lovely deed in and of itself, to incite public outrage feels a little exploitative, Segal told Ynet.
I think the fact that I agreed to donate a kidney to a stranger without taking into account their political or cultural affinity is crucial to emphasize.
