Former President Donald Trump has received a warning from a judge not to use language that could incite or lead to civil disturbance.
During his brief speech to the judge at his arraignment, Trump said he was pleading “not guilty” and that the judge had informed him of his rights.
Judge Juan Merchan also gave Trump a warning that if he continued to be disruptive, he might be asked to leave the courtroom, but he only sometimes spoke to answer queries.
His next court appearance is scheduled for December, but his attorneys requested that he be excused from the hearing owing to heightened security measures.
