According to a news report, police in Los Angeles detained a suspect after what looked to be a string of random shootings that left one victim injured on Saturday morning.

According to reports, the gunman opened fire at random on residents in East Los Angeles and Boyle Heights between 6:20 and 7:20 in the morning. and 7:20 a.m., according to KTLA-TV.

The Los Angeles Police Department found an unoccupied car that was thought to have been used in the attacks, and the suspect—who was not immediately identified—was taken into custody after it.

According to KTLA, police later detained a man who matched the suspect’s description when he left a nearby house. During a search of the car, police discovered a firearm that was allegedly used in the shootings, according to the station.

According to the police, the first shooting happened at 6:20 a.m. when a 30-year-old man was seriously hurt while crossing a street.

According to reports, a suspect driving away from the area was carrying a firearm.

According to authorities, the person was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition, as reported by KTLA. Around 7:20 in the morning, a second round of gunfire occurred. when a masked man with a weapon started firing bullets before driving away from the scene.

In the Boyle Heights neighborhood, there was reportedly a third shooting by the same person using a rifle.

At the second and third shooting locations, nobody was hurt, according to KTLA.
