
Five people were wounded, including the gunman on a shooting incident in Upper Manhattan early Monday.
The NYPD said the shooting occurred around 4 a.m. at 10th Avenue and West 211th Street in Inwood.
In the initial police investigation, authorities saw a 30-year-old man shooting four persons in the area.
The police immediately shot the suspect suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Medical health personnel immediately rushed the suspect and the victims to the nearest hospital.
All of them are expected to survive the shooting incident.
A deeper investigation of the early morning shooting incident is now underway.
