NYC fourth district Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been branded as a hypocrite for going maskless while vacationing in Floridas as New York City reported a record number of new Covid-19 cases.
Many New Yorkers are not happy that the outspoken socialist and fierce defender of Covid-19 rules and regulations Ocasio-Cortez has decided to leave NY as the COVID-19 cases soar and dine publicly without wearing any face mask.
According to reports, Ocasio-Cortez was seen dining outdoors at Doraku Sushi and Izakaya in Miami Beach on Thursday.
AOC’s district, New York’s 14th, covers parts of the Bronx and Queens.
It can be recalled that when Senator Ted Cruz went to Cancun, Mexico during a rare snowstorm that left millions in Texas without power or water, Ocasio-Cortez was quick to criticize him for his action.
“If Sen. Cruz had resigned back in January after helping gin up a violent insurrection that killed several people, he could’ve taken his vacation in peace,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.
“Texans should continue to demand his resignation,” Ocasio-Cortez added on her tweet.
