Earlier tonight, NYC mayoral candidates weighed in on the Israeli response to rocket attacks from Gaza militants that struck Jerusalem earlier today for the first time in 7 years. Israel responded with targeted airstrikes on Hamas operatives and a terror tunnel, along with strengthening the military presence on the border.
Or did they? While Andrew Yang issued a strong statement in support of Israel and pledged to stand with Israel and New York’s Jewish community after the attacks, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams initially tweeted support before caving to left-wing pressure and deleting the tweet.

Yang stuck by his convictions, writing, “I’m standing with the people of Israel who are coming under bombardment attacks, and condemn the Hamas terrorists. The people of NYC will always stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel who face down terrorism and persevere.”
The Eric Adams campaign didn’t immediately respond to Yid Info’s request for comment.
