According to authorities, in an odd Brink’s truck robbery outside a Brooklyn bank last week, a man made off with $300,000 in cash.
The burglar allegedly stole an unguarded money bag off the bumper of the armored truck while two other guys asked the Brink’s employee for directions, according to the police.
The event occurred just before noon on January 6 at a Chase Bank location in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, during a bank money drop.
Police posted images of the guys on Saturday and requested assistance from the public in locating them.
Images captured by a security camera outside the bank show a man crossing the street while holding what looks to be a bag of cash.
As of Monday, all three males were still at large. According to a Brink’s spokesman, the business collaborates with law authorities.
