30% of adults are listed as having no religion. Those who identify as atheists (7%), agnostics (7%), or nothing in particular (16%) are included in this group, known as nones. 64 percent of those surveyed said they were members of a Christian tradition, including Protestants (25%) and Catholics (19%), as well as “just Christians” (18%), Mormons (1%), and Orthodox (less than 1%).
Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, and something else (2% each) were additional groupings.
