Chareidim criticized Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu when he made the startling allegation that “Hakadosh Baruch Hu has not always protected us.
While giving a caution to Jews preparing to travel to Uman for Rosh Hashana, Netanyahu made the remark.
In light of the current situation, Netanyahu advised Israeli citizens visiting Ukraine to exercise caution. “Hakadosh Baruch Hu has not always protected us, neither in Europe nor in Ukraine,” he continued.
“It is important to realize that when missiles are fired towards the State of Israel, people enter bunkers and are protected.
There are no safe havens or defenses there. In a statement, the Shas party criticized Netanyahu’s remark.
The Jewish nation is the only one that has miraculously survived for thousands of years, according to the Shas party, since Hashem constantly shielded them throughout persecution.
