A significant accident that happened early on Thursday in the Monsey region has been reported to have claimed close to twenty victims.
A local Ribnitzer school bus reportedly struck a nearby house while traveling along Spring Valley’s Southgate Drive.
A second vehicle was buried beneath the bus.
While the exact circumstances of the accident are still unknown, some accounts claim the bus hit two parked cars at the scene; at least one of these cars was dragged along and eventually pinned under the bus.
At least 21 victims have been pulled from the collision so far, and two of them are reportedly in critical condition.
