Of the approximately 1,000 shootings in New York City, only 20% of arrests have been made, a sum of approximately 250 arrests, according to the NYPD.

Brooklyn has seen the most shootings, around 440 incidents with the lowest arrest results from Aug. 23.

The Bronx has seen second to the most shootings in the city, approximately 250 shootings since Aug. 30.

Queens has seen the fourth to the most shootings in the city, approximately 145 shootings since Aug. 23

Manhattan has seen the third to the most shootings in the city, more than 130 shootings since Aug. 30.

Staten Island has seen the lowest shooting numbers in the city, approximately 30 shootings since Aug. 30.

The NYPD says that the State bail-reform and court shutdowns due to Covid19 is the blame for the gun violence across the city.

Meanwhile, Bill de Blasio is still turning a blind eye on gun violence across the big apple, tying the hands from the NYPD which is resulting in the gun surge in New York City.
