
The meeting began with Yoni Z. performing the National Anthem, followed by remarks from Police Commissioner Keechant L. Sewell, who reaffirmed the NYPD’s commitment to the Jewish community and their safety. NYPD Inspector Richie Taylor also spoke at the meeting, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in keeping the city safe for all.
During the meeting, Mark T. Stewart, the Deputy Commissioner of NYPD Community Affairs, expressed gratitude to Hatzolah, Shomrim, and Masbia for their diligent efforts in responding to emergencies and providing aid and assistance to victims.
Together, the NYPD and Jewish leaders continue to work towards creating a safe and secure environment for the 1.5 million Jews residing in New York City during Yom Tov Pesach and beyond.
