A 42-year-old woman was hospitalized in severe condition Tuesday following a violent mugging at a Brooklyn hotel, police said.

According to authorities, she was knocked unconscious during the robbery, and the perpetrator made off with her handbag, which contained a $175 Michael Kors watch.

The woman had agreed to meet her attacker at the Quality Inn on Third Avenue near 44th Street in Sunset Park just before noon Sunday when the thief jumped her and attempted to steal her bag, according to police.

As the two battled, the mugger repeatedly kicked the woman, knocking her unconscious. According to the security video collected by police, he raced out of the hotel with her handbag.

EMS discovered the woman at the motel. She was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn and was listed in critical but stable condition on Tuesday.

According to police sources, the woman has no home address and may have been residing at the hotel as part of a local housing program.

On Tuesday, detectives published surveillance photographs of the suspect, hoping someone might recognize him.

He was described as having dark skin between 24 and 35.

Cops claimed he was last spotted wearing a green Yankees baseball cap, black jeans, boots, and glasses and carrying a blue bag.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept private.
