The NYPD is now hunting down a man who stole cellphones from a parked vehicle in Brooklyn’s Kensington neighborhood.

Based on the surveillance footage taken from the crime scene Thursday last week, the suspect walked to a parked SUV on Dahill Road, between Ave. C and Cortelyou Road around 11 in the morning.

The suspect opened the rear gate of the apparently unlocked vehicle, stealing 75 cell phones valued at $10,000.

The suspect casually escaped after stealing the cellphones.

In view of the daring robbery, the local Shomrim called on drivers to always lock their vehicles when they park.
