On Thursday, influential Orthodox activist Dov Hiking blasted New York Governor Kathy Hochul for the photos she took with Maher Abdelqader, who has a history of sharing antisemitic content online, including spreading the vicious fake lie that six million Jews were not killed in the Holocaust.
Hikind, the founder of “Americans Against Antisemitism”, blasted NY Governor Kathy Hochul’s hypocrisy on Twitter, saying, “After fundraising with an antisemite, candidate for NY gov @KathyHochul’s spokesperson assured us that she is against antisemitism. In other words, Hochul rejects antisemitism but accepts antisemites and their donations! Tell Hochul its unacceptable and to #ReturnTheHateMoney.”

The photos in question were taken last month when Hochul attended a Harvard Club fundraiser in New York City.
Will Reinert, spokesperson for the Republican Governors Association said: “Kathy Hochul unabashedly rubbed shoulders with a widely publicized radical anti-Semite – begging the question – who else in the Governor’s inner circle have anti-Semitic ties? With friends like these, it’s no wonder recent polling shows Hochul on the ropes and Zeldin surging towards victory.”
Abdelqader has previously shared a video online claiming that Jews are “satanic” and controlling the media and that questions whether 6 million Jews died in the Holocaust. He also promoted claims on social media that the Jews are not really from Israel and his Facebook to promote the antisemitic BDS movement.
