As he promotes a new book that reveals his life behind palace walls, Prince Harry has accused his stepmother, Camilla, the queen consort, of leaking confidential discussions to the media for her reputation.
Harry accused members of the royal family of “falling into bed with the devil” in interviews that were shown on Sunday and Monday.
Harry singled out Camilla’s efforts to repair her reputation with the British people following her long-running romance with his father, now King Charles III.
Because of the relationships, she was developing with the British press; he said CBS made her dangerous. “Both parties were eager to exchange information freely.
There would be individuals or bodies left on the street because of the hierarchy in the family and the fact that she was on the path to becoming queen consort.
Harry appeared on “60 Minutes” on CBS, “Good Morning America,” and Britain’s ITV to discuss his soon-to-be-public book “Spare.” a few U.K. Bookstores opened at midnight to accommodate the demand for the eagerly awaited biography, which has sparked controversy with rumors that it contains details of sour family feuds and Harry and his wife Meghan’s choice to renounce their royal positions.
Chris Imfidon, chair of the nonprofit Excellence in Education, stated, “I want to be able to paint the image for myself, experience it for myself, and then be able to say, oh, yes, maybe things have changed, or maybe the person has evolved.”
He made the trip from Essex to London to purchase three copies of “Spare” so that he could contrast the media portrayal of Harry with what was written in the book.
“I don’t think I’ll be pleased simply hearing,” he replied, “if I only read in the papers. Each newspaper paints an entirely different picture of the duke.
Harry frequently blamed the media in the interviews for the problems that beset the pair, also known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, claiming that the publicity led to the problems.
Harry was also unapologetically pursuing legal action against several British media outlets.
Harry asserted that altering the UK media environment is “my life’s work,” despite his father’s belief that doing so is “probably a death mission.”
Harry yet persisted in criticizing the royal family as a whole.
After being married to biracial American actress Meghan Markle, he reiterated his allegation that there was “anxiety” in the royal family over the skin color of his unborn child.
Harry and Meghan first brought up the issue in a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, but they haven’t revealed which part of the family expressed worry.
