If you’re residing in the Eastern pockets of the country, here’s a pro tip you absolutely cannot miss! Hertz has now introduced an all-new promotion called “Head east safely”, through which the company is encouraging customers to help bring its vehicles across the country, after a successful presence in the West! With this new promotion, you’d be able to book a one-way rental between one and 10 days starting at just $10 per day, plus taxes and fees.
Starting February 16th, 2021, here’s how you can smartly maneuver through town with Hertz at just $10/day if you play your cards right! Instead of taking your own vehicle on a long trip during the weekend, it is a lot more cost-effective to rent out a car to save yourself from all your gas refill woes.

If you are at Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland, Fresno, Seattle, and Portland, plus surrounding areas, with drop-offs in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas or Washington, D.C, there are a multitude of pick-up sites where you can wheel your rented car from effortlessly and without burning a huge hole in your pocket!
A thing to remember here is that Hertz’s 10-day limit is entirely inflexible — adding just one day makes the offer invalid, with the entire rental pricing at the standard rate. If you anticipate needing to adjust your rental, add in extra days at booking, just to be extra safe. If you do decide to take advantage, be sure to add Hertz elite status to your account so that you could get an upgrade, and you might be eligible via a credit card or Delta or United elite status. And, as always, be sure to pay with a card that offers car rental coverage, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card.
