Rabbi Chaim Elazar Wassertheil, the Rimanov Rebbe of Boro Park, has traveled to Israel to help search for Moishy Kleinerman, who has been missing since March 2022 after vanishing close to Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai’s Meron grave.
The rebbe previously rose to fame for his prowess in finding the whereabouts of the missing, including Leiby Kletzky z’l, a chasidic boy kidnapped and killed in 2011.
For the police, the rebbe sketched the location where Kletzky was eventually discovered. He has also participated in the search for other missing people, employing kabbalistic techniques such as the goral Hagra (a means of reading the bible that can be utilized to learn about unsolved issues) to locate them.
According to the rebbe, the searchers should concentrate their efforts on the Pekiin area west of Mount Meron, who just conducted the goral Hagra regarding Moishy Kleinerman.
The Rebbe, who arrived in Israel to help with the search direction, is collaborating with rabbis from Emanuel and Rabbi Yosef Berger, the Mishkoltz Rebbe’s son.
