According to two people familiar with his plans, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will officially launch his 2024 presidential
campaign on Wednesday during an Elon Musk and Twitter Spaces event.
DeSantis will reveal his plans in an audio conversation with the owner of Twitter, according to the two people who spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity Tuesday because they weren’t authorized to discuss them publicly.
DeSantis has long been considered Donald Trump’s top Republican rival for the nomination
